Design and Fabrication Process Optimization of Silver-Based Inkjet-Printed Microheater

This paper examines the simulation, design, and fabrication of a nano-particle silver microheater. COMSOL Multiphysics is used to simulate microheater an area 720 × ?m2. Different stages process are discussed. The size cartridge 10 pL nozzle diameter was 50 ?m. drop spacing chosen be 45 ?m after testing several different values. Controlled printing Ag ink reached by setting tickle control frequency 8 kHz print height 0.4 mm. temperature set at ambient temperature. inkjet printed same track gap widths 110 measured resistance microheater, 119 ?, approximately equal simulated 100 ?. It observed that center heater reaches up 250 °C.
